WALAX SEATTLE SUMMER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WALAX is hosting a Seattle lacrosse development program designed to teach players in grades 3-8: how to improve their fundamental skills, the importance of character and how both their skills and character factor into team success.
Program Highlights:
• 9 dates include: Intro Clinic, 5 week Development League and 3 “Advancing Your Game” Clinics
• Development Program invites a pro or college player each week to share tips and drills that helped them improve
• “Advancing Your Game” Clinics apply what you learn in the Development Program to more advanced play
• Focus on character development as well as skill development
• Price is just $100 for all 9 dates
Dates:
Intro Clinic

All ages 10:00-noon
Development Program Dates

5/6 graders 6:00-7:30 p.m.
7/8 graders 7:30-9:00 p.m.
Program Details:
Intro Clinic... welcomes players & parents to the program, explains the important balance of skill development & character development and familiarizes players with the 7 on 7 game format & why we use it.
Five Development Program dates... feature a different pro or college player as “guest coach” each week. For the first 45 minutes, we get tips from the “guest coach,” address our skill & character development goals for the week and run drills to improve each player. The second 45 minutes will be game time for 7 on 7 lacrosse.
Three “Advancing Your Game” Clinics... run by the Seattle Starz coaching staff are designed to take the fundamental skills players learn in the Development League and build on them to help transition their game to the next level of play.
This series represents an incredible value and will help any young lacrosse player improve their game while having fun with their friends on the field.
